Vacation is Hard Work

Here’s my view off the back porch of friends John and Kayla’s Westport, MA home.  

I did have to wait for the teenagers to quit arguing over who’s turn was next, but it was worth the wait.

Odd Bit-Jersey Turnpike

So, I admit we left later than we planned. But we also didn't really think this out going to NY City on a Sunday means being in going home from the beach traffic. A 4 hour trip is looking like it will be every inch of 7 and we're only 5 into it at this point.

We truly didn't notice this when we parked, but love it for it's subtlty.

I overhear a guy saying "when you go you have to eat a Primanti Brother" and turn to see a. Bright yellow new looking Willie Stargell shirt. Being worn, of course by a stylish ex-burgher with his family. As you know I mostly catch the steeler logos.
